Big day out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello fire breathing blog readers!!!
Today, as it is the end of the year, I decided to put in place a smiley competitions!(>'-')>
Anyway, this week I have to talk about our Big Day Out!!!
In the 2 past years, I have been sick on the Big Day Out days, which is a pain!!!!
Anyway this year I think it is going to be awesome as I predict it will be in a public place such as the zoo or Zelandia.
I will try not to be sick this year!!!
We also have to write about our favorite event during the year!
Mine was the year 8 camp, because I had a lot of fun with all my friends.
We also did a lot of activities which I really enjoyed, but on the last day, I broke my wrist and I wasn't able to do the caving activity. <(='-'=)>
Well here you go everybody and one last smiley face.
('-('-('-('-('-('-('-')-')-')-')-')-')-')

College!!!!!!

Hey guys,
Today I will talk to you about what I think about college!!!
In college I thought of achieving different goals such as:
-Getting better at Maths, and other subjects
-Improving my language skills
-And making new friends.
-Making new friends, and having more hard lessons.
I thought that the only things that would be challenging for me would be :
-I would be one of the smaller years!
and
-Not knowing my way around the College and I do not know where my classrooms are!!!
and
-Getting lost as the College is a maze of corridors.
Well there you go!
Oh, and one question:
Which College are you going to?

Book week!!!!

Hey guys,
Today I will share with you 3 of my favourite book week events.

My first favourite event was the parade. The parade was so fun as I could see all of the creativity of every child in their costume. Some had beautiful face paints and some had beautiful masks. Some of them were dressed in groups, like Mr Men and Little Miss.

My second favourite event was Kate di goldi. Kate di Goldi, the author, came to our school and talked about her life as a beginner author and a child. She also told us how to write better. I remembered that she told us, when we she was little she used to  ideas off other books that she used to read. It was fun to see how authors work It was also really fun to listen to listen to her childhood stories.

My third favourite event was the golden ticket hunt that M .McGurk organised. Our teacher made up some clues on the day and he then posted them on our classroom's blog. We had to find out everything so we could know the place where he hid the ticket. If we brought the ticket back to him he would give us a chocolate bar!!!! It was so fun that we forgot about our tasks and we got addicted to that search!!!

Well thank you for reading and I have one question to ask you:
What was your favourite event?

Favorite book!

Hey fire breathing blog readers,
Today I will share with you my favourite book from when I was little!
My favourite book from when I was little was : (drumroll.............................................)

WINNIE THE POOH
I loved Winnie because it was my favourite teddy bear as well as book. I also had a video game including Winnie.
My favourite Winnie story was Winnie and the Heffalup because it included a lot of mystery and suspense. I was about 6 when I used to read this book. The main story is that, one morning there was a strange sound and bunny thinks it is a creature callled the Heffalup. So they go on to try and catch it.
You should totally read this book at your age and you will crack up laughing!
Well there you go and what is your favourite book?

My favorite thing ever!!!!

Hey fire breathing blog readers,
today I have to share with you my favourite thing to do!
My favourite thing to do right now is probably reading a book called Indiana Teller!!!
It talks about a 18 year old kid called Indiana Teller, he is born in a family of werewolf but he isn't one. His dad was one but his mum was a back-in-time, which is the ultimate spy! He was born with the same powers which only activate when he is in danger. He then hopes to have a normal life when he enters university but the alpha ( his gran-pa) is challenged. He then needs to use his powers against the terrible plot against his clan.
It is an amazing book because it is fantasy and is nicely written. I am sure that most of you will enjoy it. Here is a picture of the front cover:

Doesn't it look great? There is 4 books in the series and they are all situated in the 4 different seasons!!!

See ya guys and I hope you will read it.
What is your favourite book?

My Future Job ( M.F.J )

Hey Guys,
Today I will share  with you what I would like to do as my  future job.
The Job that would be ideal for me would be video game programmer, why? Well simply because it is something that I like to do!
As you probably read from my last post you probably saw that I already have made my own video game, which was totally fun and makes me excited to make more of them.
Another reason is that my dad works for Weta Productions and that graphics and animating in movies is his thing! So he helped me a lot to model different things in Maya, which is a software to model shapes, and then transporting, downloading and saving them into the Unity 5 which is a software enabling you to script, animate and model certain objects as well as building an environment and a scripted video game to trial and play. In Unity 5 you can also give finished video games to software managers such as Windows, Apple ect... to try out your video game and if it has the level required to enter their shop then you will make money but you the dumb side of accessing the shop is that you have to pay for your video game!
To make a video game you have to use a number of different softwares that can be very cheap or very expensive.
The subjects I  would take in College would be graphics and a multiple series of languages.
I mostly work things out at home and on tutorials ans websites such as Lynda.com.
This is a question for you to end this post:
Could you live for more than 2 months without touching a video game or phone?
If yes why don't you try the challenge?
Bye guys

Holiday Recount...

Hey guys,
The fire breathing blog is back after a short 2 week holiday.
Today i will talk about what i did (not in order) during the holiday.
Most of what i did was spending time with friends. I also invited people to sleepovers as they invited me. I also babysitted my sister while my parents went to a birthday party of one of my dad's friends.
I also took a long time on my laptop to finish my first video game !!!! Hooray!!! I called it Break a Brick. It consists of breaking bricks with a ball that bounces of a paddle. It is really fun and my dad got addicted to it.
I also watched Jurassic World and Jurassic Park 1 and 2.
I also drew a lot cause I wanted to and it was really fun. I taught my sister to draw and write( with my hand) it was funny to see her scribble all over the page.
As a result my holidays went well but I did no do much.
How did you holiday go?
See ya.

Favourite Class art!

Hey guys!
Today I will share with you some of my favorite pieces of art from art week!
During Art week all the classrooms from this school worked hard to create fantastic looking pieces of art!
My favorite me made art is:
The Space Shuttle Columbia!
Oliver helped me do this piece of art. But I did most of it!
We had a picture to reproduce on to a board and then on then paper that we painted!

My favorite other art class was the alien mars planetscape:
This is an amazing piece of art which covered a whole wall and 3 classes contributed to it.
The three classes made little aliens that are templated from the video game "Darklings"!

I hope you enjoyed this and see you later!

My favorite poem

Hey guys.
Today i am going to publish my best poem written this term. It is called "When i was a boy.":

When I was a boy
I lived at my godmother's house.
As i went through the door,

The smell of pie surrounded me.
I went through to the kitchen door,
my hands scraping the wall

tickling my back with shudder.
The loud noise of the TV,
And the soft swiff of someone

sitting on the couch.
The head landing on a cushion making a puff
that was covered by "Goal" on the screen.

I went back outside and the fresh air and cold pine smell
came over me.
The tic-tic-ping of my dad on the ping-pong table

playing with his brother,
reminded me of my alarm in the morning.
I climbed up the cherry tree,

to pick up one of his juicy fruits.
As i bit into it,
a long red drip sploshed onto my shirt,
forming a love heart shaped spot.

flowers on the ground, the stripped insects
rushing, collecting nectar made a familiar noise.
The blossomed flowers,

full of different colors,
flashed my face like the sun,
on the reflected water,

of the turtle pond.
The tickling of the pines,
made me feel
like i was in my mum's arms.

So there you go!
That is my favorite poem because i liked the way i felt when i wrote it and i like the way i feel when i read it.
What is your favorite poem?

Flag choosing

Hi guys,
Today we could choose our top 4 new New Zealand flags.

My first choice would be Tukutuku  because I like the shading and symmetric forms! It is a good idea to put the stars in the same style as the rest of the flag!!! The colors have a nice effect on the flag and I am sure it will be nice floating in the air!

My second choice is Black Jack  because it looks cool!!!
The symbol reminds me of England with a nice native Māori touch to it. The four stars on the side makes it different then the normal, it makes it come out of the ordinary.

My third choice is Red Peak because the contrast of colours is nice! The big triangle makes the flag change and makes it looks good. I also like how the triangle divides the flag in different parts which for me have totally different meanings.  The red in the middle signifies the heart of the mountain. The mountain separates the black and the blue which for me symbolises the day and the night.

My fourth choice is Raranga because it kind of looks like tukutuku and looks kind of the same. The geometric forms and the cross and the colours just match up. It brings a nice effect to New Zealand and it pops out of the ordinary as well!
Well thank you for reading and what is your favourite flag?

My favorite art!!!

Hi guys,
Today I am going to share with you my favourite type of art which is:
-Sketching
-Realism
-Doodling
-Word-tooning
If I could improve one of my art skills it would probably be realism drawings because it is very hard to draw humans and make them look like humans. The details of the face is very hard to draw. You also have to know the whole anatomy of the human body to know where the muscles fold and retract.
It is also good to have a model each time that you draw, so later on you will know how to draw the shapes you drew before.
I also like to draw abstract such as the drawing i will show of "Growing Flowers".
If my class could have an art exhibition and i got to chose what we would do, it would probably be origami day!!!
What would your art be?
Bye

Dinner time!!!!

Hi guys,
Today our teacher gave us a challenge!!
He said,
If you could invite a real and a fictional person to dinner who would it be???
My real person would be:
George Clooney because he acted in my favorite movie called Oceans 11!
I would ask him what coffee tastes like,
Geoge Clowney
and how does it feel to steal money from the Belagio!!!
Fun fact: you can change his name with one letter!!!
But he dosen't mind when we call him that!

My fictional person would be:
Damn i am late
A WIZARD IS NEVER LATE!!!
Harry Potter!!!
Because he is just MAGICAL!!
I'd ask him to teach me some magic!!!
That would be so fun!!!
I guess you can say Harry Potter is awesome!!!!!

Sad memories

Hello,
Today the fire breathing blog is going to share a very special memory...
One day as I left France to come back to New Zealand my great-grandmother said to me before getting on the plane:
See you again (A la prochaine fois (French)).
When we got on the plane, I got a bit scared because I thought I might not see her again.
When we took the plane to Dubai the captain said there was going to be some big turbulence.
So I looked at the time at the same time as the turbulence.
11h30 on a Tuesday French time.
When we arrived in New Zealand we settled in our rooms and went to sleep.
A few days later we heard that she died of a stroke at 11h30 on a Tuesday.
They found her dead on her bed.
They found her diary and my grandparents found that she noted down everything that happened from the start of her stroke which started one week before her death.
It may not be a good memory but it is something that I will always remember and my family will always remember Francoise Mangonjean the head of the family.
What is your good memory?

Deutsh!

Tag,
Fire breathing blog readers, today we are going to talk about the German which we learn at school.
I like German, a bit boring sometimes!!!
I won't continue to learn it in college because it won't help me at all in my family.
German is an interesting language and Germany is an interesting country, you should totally research about it.
I think knowing a bit of German cannot help you much because if you see someone talking German you won't understand them, because they speak fast and unclear.
Good bye

A book i enjoyed

Hi fire breathing blog readers, I am back!!!!
I was in France for a whole month and so I didn't do much...
But I red a series that was pretty good...
BIG NATE...
There Is no plot but I recommend it to teenagers and around the age...
Big Nate is fun to read, you will crack up or seem serious.
There is no mood to read this books.
I didn't read much then the best comic book I found in France... "Klaw".
It talks about someone having the spirit of the tiger in him and when he is in danger he can transform into the tiger.

This is the best comic book I have ever red in my collection of a 101 comic books!!!
Well young fire breathing blog readers? What about you?

What i learned about ANZAC!

Hi guys,
fire breathing blog is back!!!!
Today I will talk about what we learned about Anzac...
I thought it was very sad watching the video and seeing all of the people fall on the ground...
I also learned that France was involved in the WW1.
I learned that the Anzacs were suppose to land somewhere flat instead of somewhere very mountainy  to walk up to the Turkish lands and overtake them all, but they all got stuck and shot in shrapnel gully.
Some actually did the whole detour and took the place call Chunuk bair and kept it for 2 days, after the Turkish came back and took as the Anzacs walked away. The campaign lasted for 8 months, 2 weeks and 1 day. Unfortunately we lost the battle and the Turkish won. A lot of people died because of stupid decisions that the commanders made. And from the 20th of December when it ended we now remember them on the 25th of April.
Well fire breathing blog readers what do you think about Anzac day?
do you find it interesting?
Do you want to learn more?
then go on the website (http://www.aucklandmuseum.com/war-memorial/online-
cenotaph to learn more!
See you later guys.

Camp was awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello dear fire breathing blog readers,
my dear friends today I will be writing about our OPC camp also known as The Sir Edmund Hillary Outdoor Pursuit Center Of New Zealand...
Well that is a long name isn't it?
We did so much cool stuff like on the first day we went on the road trip and stopped at Levin adventure park to have lunch... ...Then we stopped at Waioru Army Museum to have a tour... ...After 5 long hours of car trip we finally arrived at OPC...
We went straight to our cabins and unpacked our stuff...
The next day we met our instructors and my group went straight to the flying fox which was extremely fun and very, very high... ...Some were very scared... Sad face...
Then on the second day we went bridge jumping and the water was  freezing!!!
then after that we took our canoes and went down the canal and down the lake onto a beach were the apple tree camp was... ...We slept their and in the morning in or canoes... The high ropes were very scary and or the only thing that I didn't do... ... then the next day I broke my ligament because of someone (anonymous) and couldn't do caving... Sad face...
Well how was yours?
See ya...

GROUPSSSSS.....

Hallo fire breathing blog reader's,
You are now part of my blog community... ...HORRAYYYYY...
This week we had to work with a buddy for our icc cwc...
I think it went really well.. ...No serouisly i was with a friend that i met in year 6... ... We worked on Sri Lanka and their awsome cricket. I think what went really well is that we had the same ideas and so we weren't fighting over what we would put on our powerpoint.. ..which was good, i mean you can't do better than that... ...
Then we had art groups... ... we had to decide on a maori legend and draw a scene of it... ... i think my group thought i was too bossy but that is not true i was just trying to help them out on things... ...So if my group reads this please don't think i was trying to be bossy..
I think that is mostly all for today...
Thank you for reading my blog and don't forget to comment...
